UPCOMING : Sid & Nancy...Scribe PREMIERE...8 Mile!

Next Sunday on C4 - the Sunday Night Movie is "Sid & Nancy"...the story of the most infamous lovers in the history of punk music - Sid Vicious and Nancy Spungen. Sid Vicious was the bass player of the infamous Sex Pistols and Nancy Spungen - initially a groupie, then his lover. Between the two of them they shared a live fast, die young attitude - drug addiction and self destruction ran rife. In 1978, only a year after the only official studio album from the Sex Pistols was released - Sid Vicious awoke from a drug stupor to find Spungen dead on the floor. Vicious, arrested and charged with murder claimed to remember nothing - something he held on to until his own untimely death.

You don't want to miss this film!

Sunday, August 12th - something different. In 2003 Scribe's debut single "Stand Up" reached number 1 in singles chart and stayed there for 12 weeks (making it the longest running Number One single in NZ history). His debut album "The Crusader" made the whole country stand up and take notice of him - and Scribe is about to return. This month marks his return with the release of his new single "My Sh!t" - and C4 is proud to be premiering the video within its exclusive making the video special - before the Sunday Night Movie at 8.00pm on Sunday August 12th. In keeping with hip hop icons - the Sunday Night Movie that night at 8.30pm is "8 Mile", the Academy Award winning film inspired by, and starring, Eminem - undoubtedly one of the most successful rappers of all time.
