Wellington Samaritans Fundraising Concert
Press Release: Wellington Samaritans Fundraising Concert
On Saturday the 18th of August, Robin Ward, New Zealand’s Premier Baroque Harpist, will be performing at Wellington Cathedral of St. Paul with special guest soprano, Lisette Wesseling, to raise funds for the Wellington Samaritans.
The concert is being held as part of Samaritans’ Annual Appeal and the funds raised will go towards covering the operational costs of providing a 24/7, anonymous, non-judgmental, non-religious listening support service to the community.
The programme will be a selection of music from the 17th through 19th century from the British Isles, Europe and a few treats from Latin America. Doors will open at 7:00 for a 7:30 start. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children and can be purchased at the door, or from Samaritans’ Administration Office, in the crypt, underneath the Wellington Cathedral of St. Paul from 9:00am to 12:00pm.
