Rachel Hunter To Attend Fundraising Dinner

Rachel Hunter To Attend The For The Sake Of Our Children Fundraising Dinner

Click for big version

For many years John Sax has had a great concern for the legacy we are leaving our children. In 2005 believing we could no longer remain silent he founded ‘For The Sake Of Our Children Trust’ and recruited Christine Rankin, to be the Chief Executive of this Trust. She and her team have worked tirelessly to escalate awareness of the level of abuse that is occurring in sectors of our community.

The fact we have a problem seems now to be widely accepted. We will continue to speak out for those who do not have a voice.

We are thrilled to announce that Rachel Hunter will be our very special guest at a Gala Fundraising Dinner to be held at The Hyatt Hotel on 13th September 2007 from 6:30pm. Rachel is an avid supporter of New Zealand Children and has agreed to support us in our endeavours.

“I have heard lots of good things about the Trust and the work they are doing and I am pleased to be able to lend a hand,” comments Ms Hunter.

“We want to raise awareness and some money and have some fun doing it. Hold on to your hats it’s going to be a great night.”

This dinner will raise money to support an initiative where one to one work occurs with children in need in our communities, while developing ongoing youth leadership.

Master of ceremonies for the evening is John Hawkesby and celebrities such as Keisha Castle-Hughes and New Zealand soccer legend Wynton Rufer will also be lending their support at the event. New Zealand singing sensation Luke Thompson will also perform his hit song ‘Perfect Drive’.
