Kiwi Encounter Celebrates 500 Kiwi
Kiwi Encounter Celebrates 500 Kiwi
We would love for YOU to be a part of the celebration for the hatch of our 500th kiwi chick at Kiwi Encounter, Rotorua.
This very special kiwi is due to hatch at some stage in early October. Mother Nature is in charge of the timeline so it would be safe to say that this could happen any time. Based on the number of eggs due to arrive here at Kiwi Encounter, our incubation success rate and of course our kiwi, we predict that late September or early October will be when it all starts to happen!
If you are interested in hearing about this milestone for Kiwi Encounter, the population of North Island Brown kiwi and the nationwide kiwi conservation program, please register your interest so we can keep you up to date. We would love to have you here to meet kiwi chick number 500! Once you have registered, we will add you to our ‘call list’ as we get closer to this hugely significant event.
24 hatches to go!! Register your interest at www.kiwiencounter.co.nz
