ROAR! gallery: Stock show, 4 Oct - 20 Oct 2007
Stock show, 4 Oct - 20 Oct 2007
ROAR! gallery, 55 Abel Smith St, above real Groovy
As many of you will know who have had the pleasure of rifling through our abundant stock shelves, there is plenty more in the office! ROAR! gallery is renowned for having plenty to look at and enjoy, get challenged by or question.
So every now and then we feel the need to have a stock show and bring some of these gems out into the light of day. This time it is a selection based on the beautiful spring we are having; bright and cheerful works by Sue Soo, abstract colours from Poppy Moore, wild, weird and wonderful puppets from Mary Laine (get in quick she is nearly done with making these and ready to move on to something new....) and engaging new works by Martin Doyle incorporating collage with his distinctive painting style. And as always, there is much, much more, and there will be plenty for everyone to enjoy.
Please note, there will be no opening for this show, but we are open from 11-5 Wed to Sat and 11-6 Thurs, so plenty of time to get in and check out what's new.
