S333’s first solo exhibition in the UK
S333 Architecture + Urbanism announce their first UK solo exhibition entitled ……on the urban designing of architecture. The touring exhibition, which has been on display at La Galerie in Paris and DAZ in Berlin, will be showing at New London Architecture on Store Street from 3rd to 27 th October 2007.
The majority of the world's population now live in cities. This fact will have an impact on the architectural profession in ways which are yet to be defined.
This global trend towards urbanisation means that we are all becoming integrated into larger systems which bind us together such as: travel, lifestyle choices, technology, environmental awareness are expanding our field of vision with a wide angle lens, even 'Google Earth' has added a zoom function!
The phenomenon of worldwide connectivity brings increasing responsibility, and raises the question how should architects respond?
Shifting the emphasis from solving singular problems, S333 takes these questions as an essential point of departure.
