World's Fastest growing Martial Art School based in Auckland
North Shore based Choi Kwang Do (www.choi.co.nz) is delighted to be informed by International Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia that it is the worlds fastest school for Choi Kwang Do.
“Now in our eighth month of operation, it is a great honor to be told that out of 300 worldwide schools, New Zealand is leading the way” says School Owner and Chief Instructor Caroline Hazelden.
“We have been extremely encouraged by the support of our members as we have grown from strength to strength since opening our doors in February 2007. With specific classes for Pre- Schoolers, children, adults and families we expect to increase our 14 weekly classes very soon to accommodate further grow in the Summer” says Caroline.
Unlike traditional Karate which focuses on competitions and tournaments, Choi Kwang Do emphasizes the ideal of personal and social development being paramount, rather than sports competition. Choi Kwang Do classes provide a safe and non-competitive environment for students that help them to grow not only physically, but mentally as well.
