Organisers of the NZ Body Art Awards are delighted to announce the launch of the DVD from our 2007 show and the opening of our new office.
To celebrate these exciting times in NZ Body Art Awards-land, we are holding an opening and DVD-launch this Wednesday, 5 December from 5pm till 7.30pm at The Lake House Art Centre, Fred Thomas Dr in Takapuna.
We will also have some exciting announcements about how preparation for the 2008 even is coming along, and would love to keep you informed.
NZ Body Art Awards event director Mem Bourke says the team is feeling inspired and exhilarated. She says artists have already shown interest in the 2008 awards and some have already started planning their new concepts.
Ms Bourke says it really is a pleasure to give artists of the strange and exotic art-form a place to showcase their work.
“We are all looking forward to 2008 and are working with Richard Taylor of Weta Workshops on finding the next international guest judge.”
