The Ministry of Justice has released the latest annual compilation of criminal conviction and sentencing statistics, covering the 1997-2006 calendar years.
This is the most comprehensive compilation of statistics on criminal court proceedings and convictions, providing useful data on long-term trends for government agencies and the general public.
The data include:
