PRESS RELEASE December 2007
Who Says There Is No Such Thing As A Free Lunch?
A new free course from Focus invites you to join Jesus in his mealtime encounters with different people in Luke's Gospel.
This eight-session course for home groups and cell groups, Christian Unions, and Adult Sunday schools, churches and individuals explores the meals people have with Jesus in Luke's Gospel, and their subversive meaning for us today. Each session includes discussion starters, a Bible passage about one of Jesus' mealtime encounters, real life applications, something to do after the session, and ideas to help you explore the subject more deeply.
'Meals with Jesus' is available free of charge as a digital download from www.facingthechallenge.org/meals.php. Included are the Leaders' Guide and worksheet masters for group members. (You will need to register on the web site to access this page.)
