Terri Irwin To Say G’Day At G’Day NZ Australia Week 2008
Renowned ‘wildlife warrior’ and an Aussie icon, Terri Irwin, will be attending G’Day NZ Australia Week 2008. The event will be held in Auckland from 24 April to 2 May 2008.
“Australia and New Zealand have traditionally shared very close links, yet there are things that set us apart and make us unique – Australia’s wildlife experience being one of them,” says Terri Irwin. “I am delighted to be a part of this celebration of mateship between our two countries,” she adds.
Terri will be making a special media appearance at the OZTalk Travel Expo and highlighting unique nature-based experiences visitors can look forward to on their Australian holiday. She will also be addressing Aussie Specialist Agents as a keynote speaker at the OZTalk Retail Conference. The conference is open only to Aussie Specialist Agents, a network of travel agents in New Zealand who are trained to assist consumers plan their Australian holiday.
OZTalk Travel Expo, a free to enter one-day travel expo for consumers, will be held at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland on 27 April 2008 from 10am to 5pm. Consumers can also look forward to interacting with over 150 Australian tourism products being showcased at the expo as well as iconic Aussie entertainment.

G’Day NZ Australia Week 2008, to be held between 24 April and 2 May 2008 in Auckland, is proudly presented by Tourism Australia. It has grown in stature since its launch in 2006, with over 10,500 people directly participating in the week. Enthused by the tremendous response received, G’Day NZ Australia Week 2008 has been scaled up to feature bigger events, including the Spirit of Mateship Gala Dinner, Very Gold Coast Corporate Golf Challenge, The Rosemount Great Australian Lunch and OZTalk Travel Expo
