A Valentine’s Date - The Rock Way
The Rock is playing cupid this year at the most fun Valentine’s date in town. The Rock listeners get the chance to prove their love (of beer!) in The Rock’s Annual Wife-Carrying Competition.
In its fifth year, the competition will take place on Valentine’s Day (February 14th). Contestants will compete to win their wife’s weight in beer, running an obstacle course designed by The Rock’s Morning Rumble team. Wives will be carried in a variety of styles, favourites being the good old-fashioned piggy back to a classic fireman’s. The fastest couple will win the wife’s weight in beer (for the husband) and a Suzuki AZ-50 scooter (for the wife).
An on-air competition will be held leading up to Valentine’s Day from which the couples will be selected to take part.
So listen out for your chance to impress your Valentine with The Rock’s annual Wife-Carrying competition this Valentine’s Day from 7:00am on The Rock.
