At Nick - KIDS RULE! This March, kids rule even more!!! Help celebrate National Children’s Day on March 2nd with KIDS RULE day! That’s not all, we’ve got brand new shows and an awesome competition!

SPECIAL PROGRAMMING:

KIDS RULE DAY – Special Event – Sunday 2nd March, 8am – 6pm.
Nickelodeon is kids! On Sunday 2nd March 2008, Nick is honouring New Zealand’s National Children’s Day on “KIDS RULE” day, (even though kids rule all the time anyway!). We’ve got some great shows and an awesome competition for one lucky Nickhead to win a family trip to the ultimate show that’s all about kids - the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards in LA!

Check out some of the great shows we’ll be airing throughout the day:

Edgar & Ellen Advance Screening Premiere Episode! When Edgar suddenly falls head over heels for the new girl in town, Ellen must find a way to split up the lovebirds and save her brother from a crushing heartbreak.

Australian Kids Choice Awards 2007 – Catch all the action again from last year’s Australian Kids Choice Awards show, including the ‘Host with The Most Orange Carpet Special’.

The Naked Brothers Band movie, plus the Making of “If That’s Not Love” Premiere Behind the Scenes Footage. Tune in for an encore screening of the movie that kicks off story of Nat & Alex Wolff, brothers in a world famous kid rock band! Have you ever wondered how a music video is made? Watch this behind the scenes special to catch the kids from the band as they record “If That’s Not Love”.

Mr Meaty Big Greasy Musical” In this spoof of The Wizard of Oz, Josh is accidentally transported into the Land of Song after refusing to sing at the mall on karaoke night.

Roxy Hunter and the Mystery of the Moody Ghost NZ PREMIERE SCREENING Monday 17th March @ 5.30pm
Roxy Hunter, a tumultuous and precocious nine-year-old (going on 35) has just moved to the sleepy little town of Serenity Falls with her widowed mother, Susan, and family friend, the boy genius, Max. Roxy brings vivid imagination, keen “detecting skills” and eccentric personality to the small town where she accidentally uncovers a plot that could destroy her new home…

The Last Day of Summer ENCORE PERFORMANCE Monday 24th March @ 5.30pm
Luke Malloy is in a panic. He doesn’t want tomorrow to come. Tomorrow means starting Middle School - goodbye to recess and no homework. Hello to getting dork balled by Meat, the vile torturer of the school! He makes a wish that the Last Day of Summer would last forever. When his wish comes true and he is stuck repeating the day over and over again, he realises the ultimate do-over is not all its cracked up to be.

Shredderman Rules NZ PREMIERE SCREENING Monday 31st March @ 5.30pm
Nolan Byrd is a scrawny teenager who, like all the other kids, is bullied by Bubba Bixby. When their teacher allows the students to do a computer project, Nolan decides to do his project on Bubba. By going undercover, Nolan films Bubba bullying kids at his school, and airs it on his new website Shredderman.com.

Roxy Hunter and the Secret of the Shaman NZ PREMIERE SCREENING Monday 7th April @ 5.30pm
As the Hunter family settles into their new home, Roxy is certain that she has uncovered a big secret: the town's old vagrant is actually a Shaman in disguise! She signs on as his apprentice and while she's not entirely right about him, the two misfits learn a lot from each other.

EDGAR & ELLEN – Brand New Show – Screening on First at 5, Wednesdays @ 5pm from 19th March
No parents? No Problem! Meet 12 year-old twins Edgar and Ellen. Ellen is older by 2 minutes and 13 seconds who live in a 13-story mansion on the edge of Nod's Limbs. Since their parents are on an around-the-world vacation, they live with their pet, (a pile of hair with an eyeball), and their grounds keeper, Heimertz. Their mansion is located on a junkyard, which they’ve dubbed their ‘gadget grave-yard’. From it, they create marvelous contraptions of trouble while wearing footie pajama’s and pranking each other (or the goody-goody townspeople of Nod’s Limbs) all day long. Tune in for full length episodes of this brand new series only on Nick!

THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT – Brand New Show! – Screening Wednesdays @ 10.30am and 1pm from 19th March
An enchanting, entertaining series for pre-schoolers, featuring loveable characters and amusing stories! The Magic Roundabout came to this small village many years ago, accompanied by mischievous magician Zebedee, who spends his time playing good-natured tricks on the villagers. Do not miss the chance to climb on The Magic Roundabout with Dougal and his friends and enjoy their fun and adventures!

EASTER PROGRAMMING – Nick Jr Special! – Screening 6-8am from Good Friday, 21st March – to Easter Monday, 24th March.
Each morning of the Easter period the Nick Jr gang will bring egg-themed episodes to celebrate the Easter holidays. Catch Dora and Boots as they go on an egg hunt; Little Bear, who finds a Robin's egg and has to sit on it until it hatches, and Diego, who must jump back in time to the age of the dinosaurs to rescue a baby dinosaur and return her safely home.

COMING SOON:

ATLANTIS SQUAREPANTIS – Coming to Nick in April!
The biggest mystery 20,000 leagues beneath the sea is uncovered when SpongeBob and the gang find the lost city of Atlantis! A SpongeBob SquarePants School holiday marathon is coming and it culminates with the New Zealand premiere of SpongeBob's "Atlantis SquarePantis", SpongeBob’s first ever TV movie!

TAK & THE POWER OF JUJU – Coming to Nick in April!
Tak, a 14-year-old shaman's assistant, has the magical power of juju, an ability usually reserved for 177-year-old shamans with great wisdom. Great new Nicktoon coming soon to Nick in April!
