This Saturday 16 February marks the beginning of the Midsummer Tour 2008 featuring Luke Thompson and Brian Platt.
This tour brings
together good food, fine wines (and brews in particular at
Hallertau) and exquisite music, at venues of distinction
throughout the country. The tour also celebrates the
release of Luke Thompson's debut album Here on the Ground of
which Graham Reid says,
"It is a rare debut album by a
New Zealand singer-songwriter which arrives as fully formed
and mature as that by 24-year old Luke Thompson, whose Here
on the Ground announces the arrival of a major Kiwi
talent."
Numbers are very limited at Hallertau Brewbar
& Restaurant (1171 Coatesville Riverhead Hwy, Riverhead) so
I would encourage you to book your tickets and a table
immediately. Tickets are $25 and are easily purchased from
iTicket. Here's the direct link
