Body Art soars to new heights in 2008!
The NZ Body Art Awards are delighted to announce that the 2008 applications are of an outstanding quality. "The caliber of the entries this year has set a new benchmark, not only for the Body Art Awards but for the entire industry" states organiser Mem Bourke.
Unlike the traditional catwalk presentation of previous years, this year sees the North Shore Events centre come alive with a theatrical experience like no other. Not content with just showcasing the incredible works of body painting and special effects, organisers have now brought in a world of music and dance to enhance the show.
Dancers from the Apollo Dance Theatre, neon poi exhibitions, body builders and the kids from YouthTown will all come together for one night along with the amazing talents of Tai Royal and Taane Mete (formerly of Blackgrace)
