The film’s perfect balance of suspense, mystery and special effects coupled with the amazing image and sound quality of The IMAX Experience® will put audiences in the centre of the action.

Eagle Eye: The IMAX Experience has been digitally re-mastered through IMAX DMR® (Digital Re-mastering) technology. With crystal clear, larger than life images and state-of-the-art digital surround sound, IMAX puts audiences in the movie for the most immersive cinematic experience around. Eagle Eye: The IMAX Experience will debut concurrently with the nationwide release in conventional theatres from DreamWorks Pictures.

“IMAX delivers a cinematic experience like no other – it takes the whole movie-going experience to the next level,” says the film’s director D.J. Caruso. “Eagle Eye’s non-stop action and suspense is the perfect fit for IMAX. The amazing clarity and vivid scale of the screen along with the incredible sound system will draw audiences into the story as if they are really a part of it.”

Eagle Eye is a race-against-time thriller starring Shia LaBeouf, Michelle Monaghan, Rosario Dawson, Anthony Mackie and Billy Bob Thornton. Jerry Shaw (LaBeouf) and Rachel Holloman (Monaghan) are two strangers thrown together by a mysterious phone call from a woman they have never met. Threatening their lives and family, she pushes Jerry and Rachel into a series of increasingly dangerous situations – using the technology of everyday life to track and control their every move. As the situation escalates, these two ordinary people become the country's most wanted fugitives, who must work together to discover what is really happening – and more importantly, why.

Eagle Eye is released through Paramount Distribution. This film has been rated M – contains violence and offensive language.
