Hasbro’s My Little Pony Brand Celebrates Its Magical 25th Birthday This Month

Remember playing with My Little Pony in the 1980’s? Hasbro's iconic My Little Pony Brand Celebrates 25 years of magic and imagination with a year of global celebrations.

Moving with the trends has allowed My Little Pony to continue touching the hearts of millions of little girls around the globe, just as it touched yours 25 years ago. Since its introduction in 1983, over 40 million ponies from this nostalgic brand have made their way into little girls' hands worldwide.

NEW ZEALAND CELEBRATES

In New Zealand the brand kicked-off its 25th birthday celebrations by launching the www.mylittleponyparty.co.nz website. Today’s young My Little Pony fans can visit this site with their mums, where they can explore and discover together the magical world of My Little Pony online. The website has an entire party planning section featuring pony party recipes, games, activities, planning & decorating tips, online party invitations, plus exclusive member offers and monthly prizes. Every member also receives a special birthday card in the post on their birthday from Pinkie Pie!

Hasbro New Zealand continues their festivities with the release of a limited edition 25th Birthday Celebration Collectors Set featuring the core cast of 7 ponies.

GLOBAL CELEBRATIONS

Hasbro unveils “The My Little Pony Project: 25 Ponies for 25 Years" Collection a collection of 25 one-of-a-kind My Little Pony 45 cm figures Ponies were designed by pop culture influentials such as David Arquette, Courteney Cox and LeAnn Rimes. The final collection also includes several ponies created by My Little Pony enthusiasts from around the globe, chosen as part of an online contest.

These ponies will be auctioned off by CharityFolks.com in support of Give Kids The World Village, a non-profit organisation that provides week-long vacations to Central Florida to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.
