People In Your Neighbourhood, a British Council led project, features a unique line up of diverse Kiwi musicians and performers, working with the best of contemporary UK talent, to create a dynamic collaboration in modern NZ music.
The show involves live electronic soul music, accompanied by members of UK's acclaimed string collective Urban Soul Orchestra, and involves both aspiring and established artists and musicians from Auckland’s diverse music communities. Expect Korean rap, Maori toanga puoro, Fijian percussion, Nuiean soul, Chinese strings and more.
