Dutch immigrants episode of Here To Stay - 18 Jan
ANNOUNCEMENT
=============
The Dutch episode of "Here To Stay" will screen on TV1 on Sunday the 18th of January at 7.30pm
" Here To Stay "
is an energetic, high-impact documentary series that brings
to life the personality and legacy of some major settler
groups to New Zealand.
They say you don't know where
you're going until you know where you've been. The
fascinating journeys in Here To Stay prove that
point.
The great Kiwi tribe is a mix of values, personalities and tempers that come from around the world, and six well-known Kiwis have put themselves out there to discover just what parts of the Kiwi character their own ancestors brought to these shores.
"Here to Stay" is an upbeat contemporary documentary series about New Zealand identity.
The different episodes endeavour to take the viewer on a personalised journey lead by a well known New Zealander from each ethnic group who will help the viewer discover the different experiences of early settlers and recent migrants to NZ.
Previously the Scots, German,
Irish, Chinese, Dalmatians and English explained the
different meanings of the word 'root'.
New 2009 appearances in 'Here To Stay' for TVNZ (TV1) are the Indian, French, Scandinavian, Pacific Island's, Dutch and Italian settler groups to New Zealand
