Raggamuffin This Saturday in Rotorua

Raggamuffin Is This Saturday February 7th at Rotorua International Stadium!

Our International bands - Ziggy Marley, Eddy Grant, Ali Campbell (UB40), Shaggy, Arrested Development, Inner Circle – touch down in Auckland this week and along with some of the NZ Raggamuffin bands, invited guests and Dilworth Karaka of Herbs (who was involved in the influential welcome for Bob Marley 30 years ago) will attend an official private powhiri hosted by Ngāti Whātua at Auckland’s Museum this Thursday before making their way to Rotorua. The welcome, on the eve of Bob Marley’s birthday and Waitangi Day, will recall the historic powhiri of 1979 that established lasting links between New Zealand, Bob Marley and reggae. The Raggamuffin festival features over nine hours or music, a kidzone, village markets, buskers and performer’s stage, cafes, bars and much more. Below is some vital information for attendees.
