THE ASAHI ART MACHINE:
This unique interactive arts project conceived by Jill Sorenson is a self-service art gallery showcasing 25 New Zealand artists/designers and craftspeople. Buy 3 x Asahi beers and recieve a token to insert into the Asahi Art Machine and you get to collect one of the many quirky and original artworks. This project would not be possible without the support of Asahi.
REMEMBER:
If you purchase a ticket to the Living Lounge, then you can get $10 off your Splore 2010 earlybird ticket on sale in March 09. Just write your name on your ticket with your email address, bring it along to the ticket office at the Living Lounge and we'll let you know when tickets are on sale (THIS OFFER DOES NOT APPLY TO COMP OR GUEST TICKETS).
FIRST SCENE COSTUME DEAL:
If you need a fabulous funky outfit for the dress up nights with the Cuban Brothers and Butterfly Zoo, then head on down to First Scene, 597 New North Rd, Morningside. They offer a 10% discount to ticket holders to the Splore Living Lounge on hire items only. Check out what's hot to wear here
IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Splore Living Lounge is licensed to operate to midnight only (for some of us a very reasonable hour to consider heading home). Doors open to all gigs at 6pm with a fine selection of DJ's and support acts to kick start the evening. All main acts will be on by 9pm, so please do not turn up at 10pm and miss out on the show. The official after party venue is the Ponsonby Social Club, 152 Ponsonby Rd where we recommend you head at midnight for more party antics.
