A great night of fun and solidarity in the form of song, music, dance and performance art from unions, community groups and individuals from throughout New Zealand and internationally.

Featuring the Grassroots Union Choir of Tasmania, and Theatre Militia presents a special performance of ‘Black Tuesday’, the story of Fred Evans and the 1912 Waihi Gold Miners Strike.

Also featuring the Michelle Robinson Dancers, JM on Trumpet, the Brazen Hussies, poems from Ahmed Zaoui and much more. Organise for: *Proper funding for public health, education housing and all public services; * The unrestricted right to strike for significant political, social and environmental issues; * Free education (student debt $10 billion); * No to racism – welcome refugees/ asylum seekers; * Peace – and a NZ foreign and trade policy independent of US and globalised corporate control;

* $15 per hour minimum wage; * Stop the illegal, unjustified and continuing war and occupation of Iraq; * Support the Free Burma campaign and the CTU Tamil Nadu project.
