Packed to the Rafters repels Underbelly

MEDIA RELEASE

Ian Smith Logie plunge as Packed to the Rafters repels Underbelly!

Neighbours veteran Ian Smith has been sensationally backed from $9.00 down to $2.75 with leading entertainment bookmaker Centrebet to win Sunday night’s Gold Logie. The acting veteran who brought the life of Harold Bishop to the small screen in the award-winning Aussie soap is closing in on Packed to the Rafters’ Rebecca Gibney who has eased from an opening $1.80 out to $2.25!

Centrebet’s Neil Evans said while Gibney’s Gold Logie favouritism was under siege, the Best Actress honour looks a formality having been well backed from $1.30 into $1.25, while Packed to the Rafters looks set to beat Underbelly for top Australian drama, gauging by the smart entertainment punters!

“One punter has staked around $1,500.00 across five separate wagers on Smith! Gibney’s once strong grip on the Gold Logie now looks a bit shaky, although her show will be a winner!”

Todd Lasance looks set to win the Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor, with “all the smart money” forcing his opening price of $8.00 right down to a red-hot $1.30 fancy! “There’s literally not a penny for anyone else,” Evans said.

“Hugh Sheridan and Jessica Marais can also front up to the awards night with a smile on their face, quoted at $1.42 and $1.30 respectively to take the Best New Talent honours!”
