Star Trek the movie - converts to sustainable and natural.
Even on the out skirts of
outer space the stars of Star Trek and crew of Enterprise
have discovered the addictive and sustainable benefits of
Glerups – felted indoor shoes.
Danish designer Nanny Glerup from Ars in the northern part of Denmark has supplied her Glerups indoor shoes as part of the Vulcan’s costume for the upcoming 11th episode of Star Trek, which premiers today.
The costume designer of Star Trek, Michael Kaplan, bought a pair of Glerups for his personal use from a store in Los Angeles, and while wearing them at home, decided to include them as part of the Vulcan’s uniform in the movie Star Trek.
Designer Nanny Glerup has her own company, where she has designed and produced felted house shoes - Glerups since 1993 (www.glerups.dk).
Last year she received a very special order. A buyer from Hollywood placed and order. ”When I got the first contact from Paramount Pictures, I was a little sceptic – But it was all true, and now we have delivered 80 pairs of felted Glerups shoes in two styles for the movie” says Nanny Glerup.
