Einstein Music Journal presents...
A Dead Forest Index (Melb), Sora Shima & Bond Street Bridge
When: Friday May 22, 2009
Where: Whammy Bar, Auckland
Tickets: $10 door sales, R18
Einstein Music Journal is excited to
present A Dead Forest Index's first ever show in New
Zealand. A Dead Forest Index is the brain child of brothers
Adam and Sam Sherry from Melbourne by way of London.
Creating beautiful, haunting, ethereal music that brings to
mind ancient story telling and gypsy folklore, the band
employs a simple guitar and drums set up but with occasional
added instruments and swathed in plenty of reverb, creating
a very memorable listen. There are elements of grunge and
rock in the catchy guitar riffs and elements of folk. A Dead
Forest Index will be supported by instrumental rock band
Sora Shima (Hamilton) and folk artist Bond Street
Bridge
