‘In Conversation with Noel Cheer’
Media Release, Triangle Television
‘In Conversation with Noel Cheer’ features human rights, publishing and US religion-inpolitics.
Continuing its style of bringing intelligent discourse to the public of New Zealand, the June lineup on Triangle’s ‘In Conversation’ contains an unparalled diversity of subject matter. The Chief Human Rights Commissioner, Rosslyn Noonan, features on Tuesday June 2nd and Thursday June 4th.
The next guest is the veteran publisher Hugh Price of the publishing house Price Milburn. In following weeks viewers may hear a visiting Presbyterian minister from the US, Jim Symons, describing the sinister intrusion of fundamentalist politics into that country’s domestic and foreign policy. The fourth offering is Jarrod Coburn of the the New Zealand Resilience Trust. The month rounds out with Michael Nyein describing the Buddhist Monastery in Stokes Valley, near Wellington.
‘In Conversation with Noel Cheer’ is broadcast on Tuesday evenings on TelstraSaturn Cable (Channel 50) in Wellington, Kapiti and Christchurch at 8:00pm. Triangle Television Auckland broadcast time is 8:30pm Tuesdays. “In Conversation” is also broadcast nationally on Stratos at 9:30pm on Thursdays on the satellite platforms Freeview (Channel 21) and Sky Digital (Channel 89).
