In a Trademe listing the seller of a washing machine tells a story of how he "actually saw a porthole to another dimension open above the [machine] just for a second" whilst washing a load of towels.

The seller, known as 'mikew4' from Auckland, goes on to say "There were dinosaurs on the otherside and they looked scared too, it almost sucked me in but I held onto for my life to the deepfreeze. It sucked my shoes and pants off though and it got the iron as well which pissed me off because it was quite a good one. Luckily it sucked it's own power cord out of the wall and stopped before the whole house went in."

For those who don't believe tale, the seller has drawn a series of haunting illustrations of what he saw, those are detailed below.

Mikew4 says in the auction that the machine 'goes like a rocket', it has the power to 'make children cry' and it actually shakes the house. None of this has deterred Trademe fanatics who have placed bids up to $275 as of 2:50pm today.
