The kids are gonna be up tonight.....up in every way. New Zealand’s electro pop darlings North Shore Pony Club are headlining this weeks Sick Disco along with our regular voodoo beat specialist Nick D. MTron Bomb brings the glamour and the disco. While Shaveer and Barney mix the neuvo class with the classics.
North Shore Pony
Club
The North Shore Pony Club are a genre bending block
party band who busted down from the over ground at the
beginning of 2005. Disillusioned by the glam hop and chic
rock currently smearing the face of popular music, we are
here to pour accelerant on the smouldering embers of dance
culture. As a couple of kids reared on 80's pop
sophistication our music is an amalgamation of black gold
and white trash mixed up in a bastard disco blender.
Nick

most respected music media reporters. Djing breaks and
electronic dance, including support slots to Roni Size, DJ

quality dance music, Nick D has travelled the world
exploring different nations and what they offer musically.
George FM’s breakfast host, television producer, presenter
and promoter. Expect the finest across the spectrum of
electronica.
MTron Bomb
MTron Bomb a.k.a Meltron’s
club set is all about the beats and bass, fusing get-up
Parisian House, get serious Berlin minimal and
get-the-fucking-party-started New York Disco. Guaranteed to
give you thee best night out, thrashing the latest imports
before they've hit the street and selecting the wicked from
the wack and the true rave from the nu rave. So get on the
floor or get out the door!
DJ Shaveer
Young and
exciting house a la techno DJ, entertaining the true new
underground sound with its deep or rocking crossovers.
Always hypnotic, boiling, and a party vibe on Shaveer's hot
sets. Behind Deline,- taking say the last 9 months with
Booka Shade, Nic Fanciulli, Tiger Stripes, Stimming,
H.O.S.H., Rico Tubbs, Hijack, Vincenzo, Djuma Soundsystem,
HoneyClaws, Mic Newman, Get Physical, Diynamic, Potty Mouth,
boat parties, fresh club nights, and beyond!
DJ
Barney
Channelling the darkness of Joy Division, sexiness
of Donna Summer, purity of Seba, landscapes of Studio, beats
of Bukem, palette of David Lynch and warmth of Colder. Fuck,
it's just great dance
music.
