New Zealand 09 International Film Festival: Wellington Screenings
The Wellington leg of the festival kicks off on Friday 17 July.

MIC Toi Rerehiko is very proud to present three Homegrown Short Film Programmes
in 2009. They are:

Wellingtonian filmmakers are well represented in this year’s selections -
In Homegrown: Works on Film, Poppy, Mokopuna and The Six Dollar Fifty Man were
either shot in Wellington, or made by Wellington filmmakers.

In Homegrown: Drama on Video, Love and Luksaah director Mei Chen is based in the
city.

In Homegrown: Animation and Experimentation on Video, Day Drive was shot in, and
around Wellington and The Void is directed by Wellingtonian Gary Davies.
