New Zealand Body Artist Announced As World Champion!

On Saturday July 18; Yolanda Batram was announced as a World Champion at the World Body Painting Festival championships which is being held in Seeboden in Austria.
Yolanda competed in the Special Effects Face Painting Category which had the theme “Poetry the power of words” her creation “Spell Bound” blew the judges away and she was awarded First place by a “substantial” margin.
After the world Championships Yolanda is flying back to New Zealand to compete in the prestigious New Zealand body Art awards being held at the Bruce Mason centre on Saturday the 25th of July.
“We are going to try out some extreme and unusual concepts at this awards it should be a blast.” Says Yolanda
Yolanda’s company Body FX is the largest of its kind in Australasia and they are entering over 8 artists competing in most categories. Last year Body FX won 4 Golds and 1 Silver at the NZ Body Art awards.
