Sandwiches- Whats on
Sandwiches- Whats on
Another week, another friendly Sandwiches mail out.
Before we forget big thanks and much respect to the Pitchblack boys who played an amazing 2.5 hour set on Saturday - was definitely one to be there for!
The Thursday Rumpus Room is really getting some legs now, and why wouldn't it with a 2 for 1 deal on our gourmet pizzas all night and great deals on Tiger beer. This week hosts Wade and Stu welcome back guest DJs Jefe and Lisa with some old soul, new funk, and alt country. Come down and check it out if you haven't been before, its the perfect way to check out our fantastic piaaz menu, catch up with friends and ease into your weekend. Stay tuned for some exciting Thursday developments in the coming months as well...
This weekend is another giant double header, and next week is packed Tuesday - Saturday with something for everyone so read on!

Tipping Trio.

gems from 7pm. As we mentioned special guests this week Jefe

What can we say - Two of Aotearoa's biggest
Drum and Bass heavyweights go toe to toe for their first gig

Saturday - Aural Trash.
Greg
Churchill and Angela Fiskin bring the Aural Trash sound
(electro / techno / house) back to Sandwiches as part of
their massive annual winter tour, with support from Dirty
Needlez. No presales for this one, just pay at the door. $10
before 11pm, $20 after. There's also a free aural trash cd
for the first 100 through the door, so our advise would be
get down early.
Next week is going to be fantastic, so
consider this early warning:
Tuesday 28th: Rodger Fox's Wellington
Jazz Orchestra with special guest vocalist Erna
Ferry.
Kicks off at 7.30 and is free! If you haven't
been to this night before you're definitely missing out.
(You don't even have to like jazz to appreciate the talent
of these guys and girls - and we challenge you not to have
your feet tapping by the end of the first number!)
Wednesday 29th: Mark Pritchard (warp
records) - tickets 2 for $20 (buy one and bring a friend!)
Mark is a legend with more alias than you could poke
a very long stick at. Join us for this mid week treat to
hear just why he is held in such high regard.

party.
One of our favourite bands have just released

Sandwiches, Stereotype, and

Justin Martin, Klaus Hill, and Style of eye from Real Groovy
or the CD store and get a free ticket to the party!
