Courageous 3-legged Kiwi Canines are in the running for the role of Scrap in Ex-pat New Zealand Filmmaker Geoff Talbot's motion picture Lucky & Rich. In an innovative online casting procedure the public have been voting for the tripod they think most deserves to be a Movie Star.

111 tripods from all around the world have applied for the role of Scrap and eleven of the contestants are Kiwis. Voting closes on the 31st of July and any tripod that receives more than 1000 votes will go directly through to the next round of casting.
Twelve candidates will be selected to go head to head, paw to paw in an interactive online TV show called "3 legged dog Idol." The winner of the competition will earn the coveted role of Scrap in the movie Lucky & Rich and become a movie star.
