So Congress' two-front war for comprehensive health-care reform is crawling to the diplomatic and battlefield status of a five-week Sitzkrieg. Why not. That, with one exception, is what Capitol Hill inhabitants do best: sit. Sometimes they sits and thinks, and sometimes they just sits, but whichever the case, at sitting they do indeed excel.

For many, Guantanamo Bay is a symbol of the excess in the lack of justice offered up by the Bush Administration. Unfortunately, for people such as Fayiz al-Kandari, Guantanamo Bay isn't a symbol of anything; it's the harsh reality of years of their lives. For Fayiz al-Kandari, that figure is 7 ½ years, and climbing. Guantanamo is still in business, and things have become worse under Barack Obama, according to one person who has stood up for those who aren't getting justice -- Lt. Col. Barry Wingard. Lt. Col.
