News From Sandwiches

Hello again,

How good is the weather at the moment (well, it was good when we wrote this... hope it's still good as you read it)... roll on summer we say! (ok, lets not get too carried away, but it is nice!)

So what's news?

Well, first up the Jan Maree comedy show on the 28th that we are doing as part of the Wellington on a Plate Festival has completely sold out! We were pretty taken aback with the massive response (and very pleased, because we know how good it is!)
The good news is that because of the overwhelming response we have managed to swing a second show on the following Friday (the 4th September). Tickets $55 (includes 3 course meal) on sale now from here.

For the two weeks of the Dine Wellington Festival (17th - 31st August) we are also going to get into the swing of it and feature some special pizzas and side dishes celebrating Wellington produce and suppliers. Come down and check them out!

In other news this Thursday sees the launch of a brand new club night presented by DJ B.lo called Girl Trouble. This will be a monthly event and for the launch B.lo has roped in Marek and James Skylab to join him on the decks. The boys will be playing everything from spacey disco to shifty electro and beyond. Wellywood might never be the same again...
Entry is free and the boys will be playing from 10pm.

That doesn't mean the end of the Rumpus Room... No sir, Wade and Stu will still be DJing from 7 and we're still doing 2 for 1 on Terry's awesome pizzas. Come along and make a proper night of it.
