Online to Become “Entirely World Famous in New

Social Marketing Excellent Way To Combat
Tough Times For Tourism
Cat Moores, a 30-year-old Canadian woman living in Wellington, is one of ten finalists competing to be the travel blogger on the trip of a lifetime. Entirely Kiwi, a Christchurch-based reservation specialist, is offering the winner a three-month expenses paid trip all over New Zealand. Moores has until noon September 8th to attract as many blog followers as possible in order to secure a spot among the final three.
In exchange for travelling throughout New Zealand, the winner will post blogs, encouraging others to travel in New Zealand and promoting Entirely Kiwi as the travel planner of choice.
“I’m passionate about the tourism industry and love travelling”, says Moores, “that’s why I’m already in New Zealand. I’m here on a working holiday because I knew I wanted to explore this place even before I heard about the Entirely Kiwi trip.”
Tourism numbers are down, and the industry is looking for creative ways to reach potential markets. “Blogging can be very powerful; costs are minimal and its potential reach is enormous,” says Moores.
