Award winning US Christian singer/songwriter to perform in NZ

Alturas Productions recording artist Jaime Thietten arrives in New Zealand next week to showcase at several events around the country.

Jaime Thietten has shared the stage with Glen Frey (Eagles), Phillips, Craig & Dean, Avalon, the Gaithers, Tree63, ZOEgirl, Michael English, the Easters, Clay Walker, Jay Leno and many others. In 2007 Jaime was named "Female Vocalist of the Year", and her song Reckless Love was chosen "Song of the Year" in the IndieHeaven Momentum Awards.

Dave Platel, a management professional who represents Celine Dion, has raved that Jaime is a “great” artist with a “fabulous voice” and “beautiful interpretations!"

Starting in Wellington, on September 29th, Thietten will perform her powerful 2009 Momentum Award winning song My Chance along with a full set of music for Family Life International Life Fest youth event.

From there she will travel north and round out her trip with feature performances on October 2nd through 4th in Auckland at the FLI International Pro-Life Conference, followed by a special concert on Monday 5th October at the Saint Columba Centre in Auckland.

Jaime also uses her music career to raise awareness about the issue of abortion; to become a voice for those who cannot speak for themselves and to help women who have experienced this devastating emotional trauma to find healing and hope.

"People have asked me why I would want to tackle such a controversial subject at this time in my musical career. My answer is that we can't afford to wait. Lives need to be saved now. I'm not worried about what others think” says Jaime Thietten.

All enquiries and requests regarding media interviews with Jaime Thietten should be directed to Brendan Malone from Family Life International NZ on: 021 054 0762 or: brendan@fli.org.nz
