Mary Potter Hospice says thanks!
For immediate release
1/10/09
Earlier this year, the Hospice appealed to the Wellington community for help to put a new roof over the Hospice. “We’re thrilled to tell you the roof is up and the rain no longer pours inside,” says Mary Potter Hospice Chief Executive, Ria Earp.
“Our fabulous community has helped to raise over $630,000 to fix our roof and contribute towards the cost of keeping Hospice services in the Wellington region free to all who may need them. Through your generous support we can continue to look after people living with a terminal illness and provide practical and emotional support to their families.”
Ria Earp said they could not have done it without local support and that they have been thrilled by the generosity and support received from the community.
