Farmer Pimp Single and Video Launch Party
Like No One Else announces the promise of Farmer Pimp’s newly coined ‘Sweet Hot Pepper Pop’ genre, with the honey smoked vocals of Claire Holmes, upbeat grooves and lush horn sections creating a pop sound with a bite.
Recorded and produced by Mark Michel, the song is testimony to the unique and innovative blending of musical genres that has formed the Farmer Pimp sound and ensures their signature dynamic live shows.
The single is accompanied by a suitably quirky and endearing video directed by up and coming director Mark Burrows, which perfectly complements the bitter sweet aura of Farmer Pimp.
Formed at music school five years ago, Farmer Pimp is the creative partnership of Claire Holmes, Mark Michel, and John-Paul Muir with band support from prominent local musicians John-Paul Muir (synths and keys), Mahuia Bridgeman-Cooper (violin), Finn Scholes (trumpet) and Glen Child (drums).
