Eva-Maria, Otara Youth Collective Redefine Youth!
Media Release
Friday 9 October
For centuries,
parents have been giving other parents advice on how to
raise their teenagers and how to communicate better with
their children as they change into young, independent
adults. However, with the 21st century comes some changes
and it seems the tables have turned - now it is teenagers
themselves who are helping parents to raise their teens and
‘tweens!
The Otara Youth Collective is proud to host
an evening out for parents, teachers, youth workers, and
employers of young staff, and of course, teens, to come and
listen to published author, international speaker, and
family coach - Eva-Maria!
The evening with Eva-Maria
will involve a powerful and inspirational 2 hour workshop
from the heart of a nineteen year old on how to communicate
better with any teen. Her strength as an author and as a
coach is that she is focused on understanding both sides to
any story, helping to compromise and settle
misunderstandings between individuals and across
generations. The workshop is guaranteed to improve your
relationships at work and at home and to alter the way you
view teenagers forever. She uses real-life examples and
focuses on short term and long term successes for you and
your teenager.
The whole community is welcome to attend, but be warned, seats are limited and spaces are filling up fast!
There will also be a sausage sizzle
and baking for sale so come prepared to eat and to support
Otara’s youth!
