International superstar comedian Barry Humphries is returning to the homeland of Madge, the bridesmaid from Palmerston North, for one public appearance.
Barry will be in New Zealand at the end of October as part of a whistle-stop tour to promote his new book Handling Edna (Hachette, $60 RRP).
Handling Edna is an unauthorised biography of Dame Edna Everage, the world’s most famous housewife, written by the man who knows her best. In it, Barry spills all of Edna’s secrets, revealing the truth about this much-loved icon for the very first time.
