Christmas At The Opera House
Christmas At The Opera House
Kia Ora and tis the season! Yes, it is that time of year to get yourself ready for the spirit of the holidays! We’ve got loads of Christmas cheer along the way starting with the Comedy Christmas Gala, this Wednesday, with a line-up of top comedians from home and around the globe to get you chuckling your way into the holiday season!
Then as a countdown to Christmas the Opera House will be in in full festive gear with the wonderful 12 Days of Christmas! Bringing the spirit of Christmas into the heart of Hastings with 12 free Christmas events set in a spectacular Christmas tree grotto, in the Opera House plaza. It's our way to give a little to our community so bring the family down and get in the festive mood.
Also, we would like to mention that we got some wonderful news last week, in receiving a 5-star rating in our Qualmark inspection. The Hawke’s Bay Opera House is now one of only a handful of other Conference venues in New Zealand that has been able to obtain that grade. Great news for the Opera House and Hawke’s Bay! It is a reflection of the great work that has been done. Cheers to all.
So as we head into the season finale for the year of 2009, and we take our final bow for the year… we would just like to say thank you to all of our patrons and sponsors who have supported us throughout the year and on behalf of the hard-working staff here at the Opera House and myself we want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas season! .
