Framed 2010
Framed 2010
The Design and Arts College of New Zealand (D&A) will be holding the opening night for its graduating Graphic Design exhibition this Friday 17th February at 5.30pm. The graduate exhibition, aptly named ‘Framed 2010’ catalogues 2 years of work, showcased in frames.
Students work includes poster design, type and image exploration, logo design and branding, packaging and promotional material, as well as drawing, photography and business studies.
“Graphic Design is about communicating across different levels and mediums. Students have been taught that, to keep creative, they must keep their minds open. Their aim is to make a difference in a world saturated in advertising” says Kathryn Spellerberg, Graphic Design Programme Coordinator at the college.
Each student has taken their 2 year body of work in a different direction, resulting in an exhibition full of unique, selective, and creative pieces.
