AA Tourism guides and website strike gold
AA Tourism’s website and guide operations have come out as New Zealand’s leading supplier of holiday information, according to the latest Holiday Parks Association of New Zealand research.
The HAPNZ research reveals that 66% of people who use a printed guide, use an AA Guide for their holiday planning. It also shows that the AA Tourism website is second only to the international search engine Google when it comes to planning a domestic holiday in New Zealand.
The research was undertaken during the December 2009 and January 2010 holiday period, and surveys the travel habits of international and domestic visitors to holiday parks.
Peter Blackwell, CEO of AA Tourism, says “it is clear, that in a market cluttered by websites and publishers claiming great relevance, AA Tourism has the information and credibility to be the definitive market leader.”
“I am really proud of the efforts of my
team to deliver quality tourism products and innovative
technology. Independent research is always the best and the
latest HAPNZ survey clearly shows that we are number one.”
“AA Tourism is all about inspiring travel. Our
challenge going forward is to remain the biggest advocate
for marketing New Zealand and to continue to positively
influence travel behaviour,” concludes Mr Blackwell.
