Mothers & Daughters invited to free workshops
Mothers & Daughters invited to Free self-esteem
workshops
Global research shows mothers are the most important influence in the self-esteem of their young daughters.
Auckland mums are invited to bring their 8-13 year old daughters to a free workshop to help understand how important self-esteem and good communication are.
The Liberty of Being Me Mother & Daughter Workshops are being established in New Zealand by Dr Christina Berton, creator of a similar programme that has reached more than 11,500 mothers and girls in Mexico.
“Our objective is to empower mothers and daughters so they can become stronger women with a much greater degree of self confidence ,” says Christina.
Christina will be in NZ at the end of March to train local facilitators who will deliver the workshops across Auckland.
Auckland mothers and daughters are invited to attend one of the three hour workshops, being held at Tamaki College Marae, Elstree Ave, Glen Innes on the following dates:
Sunday 28th March
(2-5pm) Monday 29th March (4.30 – 7.30pm), Tuesday 30th
March (4.30- 7.30pm) and Wednesday 31st March (4.30-
7.30pm).

Self-esteem is essential for our success and happiness and low self-esteem is linked to problems ranging from eating disorders and addictions to domestic violence.
The Liberty of Being Me Mother & Daughter Workshops are being funded by the Rua & Clarrie Stevens Trust, a family trust that has supporting the NZ community since 1970.
