Clemenger Group Partners with Auckland Festival

Clemenger Group Partners with the Auckland Festival

Auckland Festival has announced the appointment of Jim Moser, CEO Clemenger Group, to its Board of Trustees. As part of the Festival’s new relationship with Clemenger Group, Colenso BBDO becomes a Gold Sponsor of the 2011 Festival in return for advertising services.

Festival Chief Executive, David Inns says having Jim on the board, and Colenso BBDO for an agency partner provides the 2011 Festival with a huge amount of marketing expertise.

“Our goal is to establish the Festival as the number one cultural event for Auckland and we are excited to be working with the likes of Jim Moser, and Colenso BBDO Executive Creative Director Nick Worthington and his team, to make this happen.”

Jim Moser has a strong history in supporting arts and creativity and prior to moving to New Zealand was involved with Opera Australia, the Sydney Theatre Company (STC) and the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) in Australia.

He also sits on the board of the National Institute for Dramatic Art (NIDA) – a world-renowned theatre training school that boasts the likes of Mel Gibson, Baz Luhrman and Cate Blanchet as alumni.

Colenso BBDO was named New Zealand’s most creative and effective advertising agency for 2009.

Jim Moser says: “The Festival is a celebration of creativity so it is the perfect fit for Clemenger Group and Colenso BBDO. From what we’ve seen the March festival looks to be the most exciting yet, and we look forward to working with the festival team to make it a must-attend event that Aucklanders are proud of.”

Jim joins other board members including:
