Twentyone Live N Free Presents Dane Rumble This Thursday Night

SKYCITY’s hottest bar, twentyone, is presenting Dane Rumble with Josh Leys, Karn Hall and Grant Marshall THIS Thursday night (10 June). Entry to the gig is free with entertainment starting at 7pm.

"I think it's time for change, popular music needs a new perspective and I hope to be the one that brings it." - Dane Rumble

Dane Rumble was the co-founder, writer and co-producer of the incredibly popular ‘Fast Crew’ that spilt in 2008 on mutual terms. Keen to develop his own sound that was fresh and new, that combined rock, hip-hop and pop, he stepped back into the recording studios.

Working closely with Jonathan Campbell on his first solo offering ‘The Experiment’ which has recently been released, features hits like ‘Cruel’ & ‘Everything’, a fast paced synth rock track with a combination of a killer hook and hip-hop vibe.

Josh Leys developed his innate music skills from a very young age; his first word was ‘Guitar’. Josh’s musical talents are diverse. Under the guise ‘Metronome’ he is one of New Zealand’s top Beat Boxers having performed at the Big Day Out for three years, and dropped a beat at ‘The Battle for Supremacy’. Josh also has acting skills and has appeared on our screens in film and on television.

Aligned with 174 East, Josh has all the ingredients ready to make a massive impact on the NZ music scene. Josh’s latest single ‘Everything’ from his new album is out now.

Free, live music is now on every Thursday night at twentyone (located on level three of the SKYCITY complex). Over the last several weeks SKYCITY has drawn the crowds to the bar presenting Anna Coddington, Opensouls, Jason Kerrison with T*B*C (The Babysitter’s Club) and Cornerstone Roots with plenty more top gigs in the pipeline.
