Unitec presents a new musical...The Other Way
'Inspiring, entertaining - a musical that captures the many voices of young people today'
Showing for three nights only on 1-3 July at its Mt Albert, Auckland campus, Unitec New Zealand's brand new theatre production, 'The Other Way' is a devised musical that follows the stories of 12 young people.
They are all searching for something or someone.
We all make choices in our lives, some are small and some are big. But ultimately we don't ever know what these choices will lead to.
Combining both the elements of devised storytelling and musical theatre, 'The Other Way' delves into these choices, how they affect us now, and how those choices will affect our futures.
Directed by Unitec graduate, Glen Pickering, the musical features a talented ensemble of Unitec's second and third year actors. Louise Britzman and William Green bring their voices to the fore as the production's co-musical directors.
