Extra show night for Iconic Event
Bay of Plenty’s charity event of the year - Wearable Creations ‘n Colour, has gone on sale this week, with people already securing their tickets to what is expected to the biggest and best show ever. Due to public demand, event organizers are providing the public with three opportunities to experience what has been described as “a world class event”. Barbara Cook, Chair of the Rotorua Creative Art Trust says as with other years, the public can expect fantastic shows. “Over the past years we have had sell-out shows. This year to meet demand, we will be providing an additional show on the Friday night prior to the Awards show on Saturday 28th August. A new initiative will be the ‘Daily Post Peoples Choice’ text vote for those who attend the Friday night show.”
The supreme award winner is chosen from the awards five categories: Youth, Cultural, Group art, Enviro art and Corporate, and will win a prize package worth in excess of $20 000, sponsored by Harvey World travel, including airfares, two nights in Singapore, one night in Rome and a 10 day Mediterranean Cruise on board the 5 star Holland America Line, plus transfers.
Tickets to the shows can be purchased online, or at the TicketMaster office in the Convention Centre Fenton Street. For further information visit www.rotoruawearable.com
