Contemporary figurative artist Autumn McGrail of Te Aro has been selected to exhibit in this years Art show in the TSB Arena in Wellington from July 29 to August 1.
The New
Zealand Art show is an amazing event which introduces
emerging artists to the public and sells their works at
affordable prices.
This is Autumns fifth year she has
been selected.
Her signature style is made up mainly of stylized figurines influenced by burlesque dancers and pin-ups.
“My oil paintings are a mixture of darkness, beauty and sex appeal; I paint to express how I feel at the time.” She says.
Over the years she has exhibited at various group and solo shows around New Zealand.
This is the seventh year of the New Zealand art show and they anticipate this year’s show to be the most excellent yet.
