In the case of her recent film, the critically acclaimed box office hit Home by Christmas, Gaylene has seamlessly blended the two into a radically new hybrid form. The film is a finalist in many categories of the forthcoming Qantas Film and Television awards including Best Feature Film, Best Screenplay and Best Director.
